After this, the affected area should be rubbed off with a piece of cloth or rinsed with white vinegar.

Another difficult carpet stain to remove is a bloodstain. The trick is to soak the blooded area with cold water and wash it immediately with warm water and soap. For light-colored carpets, hydrogen peroxide is recommended but with strictly cautious use to protect the color of the carpet. Test hydrogen peroxide in small hidden area to make certain that the carpet color is not affected.
