Trailer Tent Features

Many people see camping as a very simple means of having a holiday but as technology has become more ingenious, camping has been able to become a more luxurious way of meeting the great outdoors.
Camping can sometimes be very uncomfortable; sleeping on a hard floor, getting bitten by all manner of bugs, dampness in the tent when camping in the cold and wet, no shelter from the blazing sun, and no where to wash or cook. This is not acceptable for those who are not enthusiastic campers and more luxury is called for.
This luxury can be found in the guise of a trailer tent which is so full of features can lead you to think that you are not even out in the great outdoors. This amount of luxury can really be the make and break of many people who otherwise would not experience the delights of camping in the great outdoors.
A trailer tent is towed behind a car as a trailer and once you get to your destination you can fold a tent out of the trailer which becomes the main living compartment of the trailer tent, complete with beds, seating area and storage facilities. When they are being towed you can even store other things on top of it such as all your other camping equipment, luggage or even bicycles.
The most pleasing feature that a trailer tent has is an additional kitchen unit that comprises of a gas stove cooker and a sink area for your washing up. It is usually found secure over the tow bar of the trailer tent and is a very welcome addition when camping out with no facilities.
The tent like roof is not only fully waterproof to protect you and the family from the rain but also comes with zipable sections that allow for better air circulation which is terribly important when you are camping in hot climates. As well as the canvas roof, you can also purchase an additional awning area that will make your undercover living area double in size. This not only mean that you can sleep extra people but it allows more space to spread out in and also a great place for family dining and board games in the evening.
The best feature of trailer tent camping is surely the fact that you get a proper bed in the base unit meaning that you get a great nights sleep no matter where you are. This excellent feature of a trailer tent is what makes it stand out head and shoulders above camping in a normal tent.
